How long will the FSD Computer installation take?
The installation process will typically take about an hour to complete but may take longer depending on your configuration.

Mine took 3 days, one day of hardware and two days of software installation

Mine took a day, but that included UV treatment on the screen and the front axle TSB.

Next day for me. But the service center was in a push to get cars out before the end of the quarter. So they were super busy. They gave me a model S to drive so no problem for me.

You misunderstood. Day 1, you dropped off your MX. They didn't look at it yet, they just staged it.

Day 2, they performed the physical installation from 800 to 8:30am. However, they need to recalibrate your car but that needed a special tech who lives in Anchorage. It took 12 hours to fly him in.

Once in, he had 476 cars to look at. So on Day 3, yours was #470 in line. He completed the software calibration in 30 minutes once he got to your car. Completing the installation within one total working hour.
