M3 Highland whirring sound turning steering wheel ???

Hello all. Can you please tell me if it’s normal for the steering to make a whirring sound when turning it. Mine is quite noticeable when standstill
Or driving slowly.

It's just the motor as far as I can tell, my 2020 Model 3 sounds similar.

I'm sure Tesla would say it's within spec.

I can't tell from a video how loud it really is, I turned the volume up, but it sounds normal.

The irony is, the quieter the car the more noises you hear

Have you looked in the manual for all the expected sounds your car might make?
There is a whole section about it.

Pretty sure mine does similar (not a highland though)

Yes mine makes this noise also and thought it a bit weird initially. It’s definitely louder than my wife’s 2023 M3P but nothing to be concerned about.
