Nice research, although we can likely put it to rest with the nanowire anode hype. Seebelow tweet, she's a well known researcher closely related to Teslas battery development

We should pay attention to the cost per kg. Even those nanowires work (which I doubt) , to produce consistent quality in metric ton scale at 10$ per kg it will be sci fi for now.

So lets say it costs $50/kg at 500Wh/kg, 200kWh->400kg, 400kg=$20000. For Roadster and Plaid this should be ok...

And if one company knows how to take a technology to scale and lower the prices it is Tesla...

Totally agree. Lets say the new technology S/X could be sold at crazy price $ 150k, or something, it should be quite okay for the flagship model. I want to know what is the cost at the moment for this technology now

Something to look forward to when $TSLA gets into the S&P:

A 4% move would be +$80 for $TSLA

I was aware of that tweet, which is why I said:
It looks like to be useful for Tesla production of the silicon nanowire anodes needs to be increased by 5 orders of magnitude and (I'm guessing here) cost reduced by 3 orders of magnitude.

You know how they can better reflect the types of businesses in the American economy? How about adding an American automaker? Oh, that's right, they can't do that until 8/31 because the price per share for Tesla is currently too high.

No, it will be ~$16. (Because they wouldn't possibly do it until after the split.)

I don't think this computation is correct, 10$ per kg it will be sci fi for now. is I think referring to the anode material, not the whole battery.

So, to my small mind:

Friday, the day of record (or what ever it's called) required clean books...and we saw the result (+50%).

Now, the mice a free to play again?
That’s what I’m afraid of. If we see a 3-5% hit at opening every day, it says to me the Phantom Zone has been reopened.
