It's actually funny how my short put position opened a while ago actually lost money even as stock goes up so much due to much much higher IV.

sold -TSLA200320P465PUT at @28.99/share, it was $3.41/share yesterday, but $5.8/share at the moment of writing as TSLA goes up another... $151.
 
As I gape in awe at the ticker and $TSLA on Twitter, I encountered this article on TechCrunch: What is going on with Tesla? – TechCrunch

The article itself is about nothing, but the chart at the bottom caught my eye and helped me get on my feet:

In 2014 & 2015 the PS ratio averaged about 13, so there still seems quite a lot of up-side, even ignoring a short squeeze or S&P 500 inclusion.
