Thanks mejojo, I've done something similar, like getting the house painted. But what I was interested in is people who have bought Teslas with their gains from TSLA. I'm pretty sure that applies to many posters here...

How are you doing this? By selling shares or just somehow monetizing your portfolio?

The only TA that is available for situation like this is Fib retracement and the final level is $1015. Should coincide with a breakout from the round number $1000. After this we are in uncharted territory as not even the VW squeeze has a swing as big as this.

It's actually funny how my short put position opened a while ago actually lost money even as stock goes up so much due to much much higher IV.

sold -TSLA200320P465PUT at @28.99/share, it was $3.41/share yesterday, but $5.8/share at the moment of writing as TSLA goes up another... $151.

The article itself is about nothing, but the chart at the bottom caught my eye and helped me get on my feet:

In 2014 & 2015 the PS ratio averaged about 13, so there still seems quite a lot of up-side, even ignoring a short squeeze or S&P 500 inclusion.
