IIRC, the first 500 Roadsters (1.0 version and signatures) were at the original (loss) price, but were delivered without some of the features that had been promised. Our early (#537) 2.0 was significantly more expensive, and some of the features were still extras. I could be wrong about exactly when the price went up, but certainly before VIN 501.
The prices went up early. I know before # 101. And the initial Roadsters were 1.5’s. They did not sell the 1.0 that had a 2 speed transmission that could not hold up to the stress. The 2.0 was redesigned to take a lot of cost out. I had a 1.5 for over 9 years.
