Also in CO and I received the same text. SA at Park Meadows store says he's been seeing a ton of CO VINs hit.

In LA, CA. I got a similar message to this one with 3-9 days instead of 5-12.

Placed order on Aug 31, 2020

1st time posting here (of course for MY order)

Ordered back in Aug 7th: MY AWD LR, Autopilot, Midnight Silver, 20" Wheels
Had to do a move during this pandemic from MA to IL for my new job but would be picking up in Chicago.
No MVPA but I called Chicago Schaumburg location where I would be picking up MY for more info and was able to get a vin 485xx range. ETA to IL is around Sep 30th - I guess I would be waiting for early Oct delivery then SMH :eek::eek::eek:

Not too much of an update from Tesla website/text actually so had to call in... but that does seem like the norm here. I had a friend working at Tesla Corporate and I've asked him to look up my VIN for me, factory gate date is around 1st week of Sep. so I'm pretty happy there. Guess have to play the wait game now

We just received a text to take delivery of our Model Y on Monday (Sept 21). This was a bit unexpected, since I've been checking the website for the VIN 1-2 times per day and we just received the "5-12 days" text a couple of days ago. We just received a text tonight about delivery and now the VIN appears on the site.

Placed order: August 7th
Ordered: MY AWD LR, Std Autopilot, Tow, White on black, 19" Geminis, VIN 51679
Location: Scottsdale, AZ

Both the Delivery center in SLC and my Inside Delivery Specialist in Las Vegas have confirmed my VIN (from MVPA) and acknowledged payment... but won't hazard a guess on delivery date. Sounds like the drill is 1) Wait for the car to show up in SLC 2) Wait for it to successfully go through their delivery inspection 3) Then the Vegas based IDS will start making plans for 3rd party carrier 4) IDS will only then contact me to inform me of the scheduled home delivery date. I can appreciate they have no control over when the vehicle gets to delivery center, and admire the commitment to 'checklist discipline', but sure wish I had some idea if step 2-4 were going to be day-long or week-long processes. Like so many of you, I have been watching my Manage Order page like a hawk! This morning I saw an update that I hadn't seen covered in these threads. The field for delivery date (blank for the last 68 days) now shows the message:
Delivery Appointment
A Tesla Advisor will contact you with details regarding your delivery date and time.
xxxx MAIN ST
BOZEMAN, MT

I hope that system update is indicative that the vehicle is finally out of the Freemont yard! Any of you home delivery owners have some insight? :rolleyes:

@GreySpark i can tell you at least from my experience with Las Vegas SC, my vehicle was built 09/16 per SA, and I have an appointment today to pick it up.

I am not sure how home delivery to your area will impact your delivery date but can at least tell you factory to LV center and delivery was only a few days for me. YMMV.

In case anybody was interested, I got a text today with my LR White / Black / Tow / AP / 19's today. Vin 529XX What I found interesting when I asked when it was built (I knew it was supposed to be soon),the SA informed me it hasn't been built yet, maybe today or tomorrow.

Got my text for delivery this morning, originally set for the 25th, and then got a text asking if I wanted to pick it up on the 23rd. They indicated it shipped from Freemont today, and would arrive at the Superior Colorado Delivery Center on Tuesday afternoon.

Haven't seen one for me yet (also would be Littleton). I had emailed my SA and got the "hope to see a VIN next week" and feeling confident that it would be able to be delivered prior to 9/30 at midnight when the EAP upgrade ends.

We shall see...
