To those who attended the Roadster Chronicles session at TESLIVE and raised their hands when I asked for Roadster owners who had never downloaded the logs from their Roadsters, I have news for you. The USB key drive that Blink provided to each TESTLIVE attendee in the goodie bag is the right size (1GB) and format (FAT16) to use for Roadster log downloading. All you need to do is create a folder at the root level on the USB drive named VehicleLogs (the case matters). You can also delete the files and folders that Blink put on the drive if you have no need for them. Then plug the drive into the USB port under in the center console of the Roadster, and the car will announce on the VDS that is has begun he download.

See this post in the TESLIVE section for instructions how to modify the Blink USB key drive to make the activity LED visible.
