@libra89 Call now! Don’t wait for them to call you. My latest reschedule had me slated for 9/5 (same as yours). I called earlier today to check in see if Wednesday was still on. They said my car was there and asked if I wanted to come in earlier. So I got moved up to Monday. So call!I am secretly wishing for a call like that too, but pretty sure it's not going to happen. I will be elated if Wednesday sticks for me now. Come back and tell us how it is!!
Really? I literally JUST got a call from Vegas last night that moved me to 9/5. And they are doing delivery on MONDAY? I thought they were closed? I dunno, I kinda just want to relax and stop worrying about it. I feel like this has taken over my life, probably like most in this thread.@libra89 Call now! Don’t wait for them to call you. I was surprised when Cedar Springs offered me Monday. Seems like most companies, even my company, has Monday off. But 'chillax'ing as you put it is probably the way to go. You're a better person than me.... Makes sense they would be given how behind the game they are right now.
Maybe if I chillax about it, I will also get a nice surprise call. Whatever is going to happen is going to do so whether I call or not, so that's the attitude I'll take about it for the weekend.
LOL! Me too, same reservation date. Honestly this is a huge first world problem. No one is going to die. I don't want to minimize how ridiculous the situation is, because this problem is also totally solvable and was totally predictable. Not excusing anything, and I don't know how hard Tesla is actually trying to make it right for some of the worst cases like SleepingLesson. But basically I've just resigned myself to "it will get here when it gets here". Yes, I too have paid in full and it's a lot of money, and it's a real test of patience for sure. I also ordered Obsidian, so that whole thing was a wait in and of itself. "First production run" configuration with a color that they already produce on their other cars, and I had to sit back and watch as every other color was getting called up for delivery within days of placing their order. Not me, I configured on 6/27 and wasn't notified that it was time to move forward until 8/7. I am not really known as a completely patient person, so this is really pushing me to breathe deep.I was surprised when Cedar Springs offered me Monday. I was talking with my parents yesterday. Mom said innocently, "It will give you a chance to practice patience."
"Mom!" I told her, "I've been practicing patience since April Fools Day 2016!"
That's pretty funny. Cedar Springs is normally closed on Sunday and Monday I believe, so Labor Day or not, that wouldn't work. Midnight makes it even funnier
I didn't say anything when she said Monday. I immediately thought "Labor Day" but didn't say anything. She even said, "Hmm looks like there aren't many options on Tuesday. But Monday is wide open."They are working Monday’s at Cedar Spring. Confirmed with my ida when she rescheduled me for 9/10. Not sure about Labor Day?
Anyone know how to get the United Road customer tracking page (not the delivery receipts page) to show origins other than Lathrop? That's all that ever shows in the reports I get, but others have been able to see the Ft Worth origin. I thought maybe it was because the VIN I used to start my account was a Lathrop - Cedar Springs route, so I re-registered with a VIN that looked like a Ft Worth - Cedar Springs route, but no luck with any different results. My account page looks like it should be able to keep track of favorite origins and destinations, but no matter what other links or reporting methods I choose on the site, they always go back to the same page with the 5 different types of tracking tabs and a place to enter a VIN.
I am in the same boat. I have only been able to figure out how to see Lathorpe only. I know my car has been in DFW since last Monday so I keep trying.
So even though I had three delivery dates, Tesla actually delivered on the second date, two hours ahead of my original appointment schedule.
The car is amazing! Fit and finish; fake news, not one issue.
I asked, and Tesla arranged a Lyft for us. The car arrived just as I was printing out an updated insurance card showing coverage on my M3. When scheduling the Lyft Tesla underestimated the travel time to the SC (big accident on I-45, caused a route reroute) so we arrived 15 min. late for the 4:00 PM appointment as a result.
At N. Houston they are set up to deliver four cars at a time. A MSM was pulling out as I arrived, and another started the delivery process as I was in the middle of mine. I didn't feel rushed, they answered what few questions I had, installed my chosen USB cable and helped me pair my phone to the car. Miles on the car at delivery 10.
Magan, my Orientation Specialist then moved the car outside to the front of the building while I signed all the papers in the FedEX envelope, sealed it an handed it over. They made a copy of my insurance paper, I signed the final acceptance paper and we were done.
We then spent maybe 30 min. in the lot taking pictures, adjusting settings, and getting a better understanding of the organization of the controls. By that time the 2nd MSM had joined us outside. The group with the MSN had a lot more questions that we did and their OS looked to be very attentive and engaged with their questions.
The car had no issues pulling music from my iPhone. First song, Barry White, "Feels So Good" which elicited hysterical laughter from both my wife and daughter. Turns out it was a good song to show off the sound system. It was good that the wait was over.
On the drive home, there was a small rain shower near downtown, wipers activated automatically before I would have generally turned them on. Autopilot became active at just about the same time. Played with autopilot a bit more on the drive home, It will take getting used to primarily so the transitions in and out of autopilot don't feel like abrupt transitions to passengers. One thing I did learn with autopilot, don't be straddling lane dividing markers when you activate it; results in a quick change into one of the lanes, in my case the one I was coming from. More trips in the even to show the car to my son. More rain with really questionable visibility of lane markings. Car saw the markings better than me, absolutely no autopilot issues.
Car was put to bed at 12:30, charging on a NEMA 14-50. Got notice of completion of a full change to 90% (279 miles) at 5:04 AM this morning. There was also a software update that was set to automatically installed at 2:00 AM, it completed at 2:33 AM.
Now where can I go today...
For certain mine has been in the rail yard since before Tuesday, 8/28 because that's the day I called and they said "it's in Dallas". I'd have to say it's probably been there since at least Thursday, 8/23, because that day my ISA said "it's in Texas". Of course I suppose it still could have been in transit, but if rail travel really only takes 72-96 hours, and assuming they started moving it right away, it could have been at the Alliance Rail Yard as long ago as 8/20.I am in the same boat. I have only been able to figure out how to see Lathorpe only. I know my car has been in DFW since last Monday so I keep trying.
This all sounds like some beautiful dream I'll never have.So even though I had three delivery dates, Tesla actually delivered on the second date, two hours ahead of my original appointment schedule.

Let me tell you though, his delivery was hardly the result of merrill sitting back and being patient. Guy was on some serious private detective *sugar* to get things moving!Wow, you kept that car up past my bedtime! So happy to hear your delivery went well! How much charge was on your M3 when you took delivery? I didn’t even plug our M3 (Sparky) in last night because we only drove it 50 miles or so yesterday, but Sparky got his second bath yesterday to celebrate the end of the second week in our home!
Now I hope to soon read a similar post as yours from Sleeping Lesson......it appears deliveries are picking up!

Thanks @jdirik, the second one you gave has the Fort Worth rail jail as it's origin, so I registered a second email address. Let's see if that helps. I agree, the site is very flaky. This process has made me very OCD, and digging for every little grain of information I can find. Very thankful to you and everyone else who sleuthed around to help us get this far!@Libra 89, I am not able to get an update on the "Current" tab from the pdf I uploaded a few days ago. Not sure why. I can report that the United Road site does not seem to be as robust as I thought. Some VIN numbers that we know were delivered by United Road show up in the new.unitedroadlogistics.com reports but do not show up on the simple united roads.com delivery receipt check. Try 059082 and 059083.
Congrats to all who are finally taking delivery. Pulling for you SleepingLesson.

So now what I really want to know is.....my car has an actual truck assigned, and it says that truck is sitting in Lancaster (southeast of Dallas, about an hour from the rail yard). The car has been available for pickup since 8/30. That lines up with what Tesla customer service told me Thursday evening, and probably does represent a change from what the delivery center had told me just two days earlier. So it seems like the car WAS making progress, but has stopped. What in heck is preventing United Road from actually doing what it seems they have been contracted to do? Looks like there are 9 other cars assigned the same truck.DING DING DING!! For anyone trying to see Ft Worth to Dallas, it does seem like just picking any car going to Dallas will only register you to see that car's specific route. So if you pick a Lathrop - Dallas car to register with, that's the only origin/destination pair you will get results for. Using JF059083 on the delivery receipts page, and then registering a second email address, I have a far more interesting result. Same as what @jdirik was previously able to find. Here's my car, still stuck in jail with the same info it seems to have had since Tuesday last week:
