This thread would be mostly empty if Roadster owners would keep their cars within the greater Tesla family by not selling to ICE types who lack even the slightest amount of green blood flowing in their veins. Let them get ICEs to shred.

This thread would be mostly empty if Tesla hadn't used the stock Elise brake setup without accounting for the increased ESS mass or, additionally (unfortunately), how effective regen would be at allowing pads to glaze.

Always once they get stored in a clearence yard for months no one would think to plug them in. However nothing says they are not recoverable again.

Everyone always asks for pix so here is one of my new ride between my other two rides. IMG_1157.JPG

Actually it was the Prius that caused that accident.

It's funny when that accident happened my sister had a black VW Touareg just like that one, and I had a red Roadster. I sent her that picture and said "Watch your temper!"

That is a wrap. That car has turned into some sort of labor-of-love project to be reborn as something unique. Hopefully the new owner gives us some details on how that is going.

Yes, early Sig cars were still made in Hethel before they got Menlo Park up and running.

I think it is Signature Green buried under all that dust.

Are you sure the battery was toast? Looked like it still had range left in one of the photos. Did you see what it went for?
