So, what is everyone's theory? I don't care about the battery capacity number, 60,70,90, 100, I'm just talking about declaring it a "Model 3" like they have "Model S".
Is it stupid to buy an aftermarket "Model 3" emblem?
I think pretty clear it's in line with the ultra-minimalism of the rest of the car. Which I don't agree with, but that's another story. In the future they should have more customization such as this, and many other details.
so should the S owners rip off their badge then? It's just inconsistent and I like things uniform. S and X have them, so I think I will buy the aftermarket emblem.
"Don't you look at that car... if you don't know what it is, you don't deserve to know."
I almost want to remove the badges from my X... It's so noticable anyway, and when it gets hot, some of the little pieces of metal (badges, like the 1 and 0's...) get wobbly, being stuck back on to the wrap when it was done last fall...
But seriously, it was probably one more cost-cutting measure, and they may have thought it was distinctive enough on its own.
