Remember back in '91 when the Chevrolet Caprice was redesigned into a rounded-off spaceship looking thing, and every police department had them? This truck is uglier than that. A complete fail by Tesla's design department.

The truck appears to be function over form plus they needed to keep the cost down for what it offers. I would have to ride in it first before I judged it but a dent and rust resistant body in a truck is nice.

The body really looked rushed to me. It's neat that the panels are so durable and all but come on, what market are they actually building this truck for? Is their plan to provide a proof of concept on the chassis and then to sell that to other companies so they can put their body on it?

I am putting a deposit on this truck, as soon as I get my tickets to MARS !.
Rivian is clearly going to be the winner here. Not a fan of the design at all.
It should be a skateboard setup under the existing body, right? Maybe they could design a more traditional looking body to put on the impressive undercarriage they’ve put together.

I literally didn't believe what I saw. Terrible. So sorry to see what they unveiled. I realize making an aerodynamic truck is an oxymoron, but damn....just give me less range!

That presentation will be shown in marketing classes for decades as what not to do at a product launch. Simply terrible. I was embarrassed for Elon. If the product were amazing that could all be forgiven. But the truck itself is a total disaster. Did they even talk to any truck buyers? Do they really think a farmer in Tusla is going to cross shop a F150 with that high school shop class design?
