Ah... it's a shame you didn't drive it; esp with the top off. With its diminutive size and low seating position, it feels like you're driving a slot car. Yes, all those characteristics you cited are certainly true. The door sills are indeed wide (though they're are actually 2" lower than on an Elise) and the center console is somewhat Mickey Mouse. As for the distance between the steering wheel and the roof, that doesn't matter when topless. In fact, none of this matters once you're seated behind the wheel and experiencing the feeling you get flying up a freeway on ramp.It was actually my first time sitting inside a Roadster (I didn't drive it).

The 2020 Roadster will only enhance that sensation. Looks like you've got your reservation already (congrats!) so you're in for a treat in a couple years!
