Well, we placed our order this morning. I've been trying to hold out long enough to get a chance to see the X in person but it's just not going to happen in a timely manner. This will be my wife's car and she's concerned she won't like it. The deal is that, if she doesn't, I'll drive it and we'll trade my Model S on something for her. Frankly, I'm not too worried but I suppose there's always the chance. We ordered it the way she wanted it: Sig red, tan/white headliner, figured ash, 20" wheels, sub-zero and tow.

I've updated my tracker page.

I also got the red "AGREE" button last night. I had ordered on 9-29, with the order confirmed on 10-6. Oddly enough, I actually got the red AGREE button twice, and had to agree twice, about an hour apart.

I noticed that in addition to the red button, they also updated the Order Agreement on the MyTesla page to the current configuration of 10-7. It had been still reading the original config before changes of 9-29.

It's nice to at least see that something is happening.

By “Ordered” I mean “made Design Studio selections” for a Sig MX. With reservation number "MX r#20,5xx”, “(Jeva) ordered 9/6…” means “(Jeva) reserved on 9/6…”. Big (months to years) difference. It seems this is the standard sequence now: reserve, get invite, order, get confirmed, ask to agree to terms, get VIN, get delivery window.

I ordered on 9/29, was auto confirmed on 10/6, accepted the terms on 10/16 and got the following email from my Delivery Specialist.

I hope all is well and you are starting to get excited for the upcoming production of your Signature Model X! We are still waiting for production to start on your Model X but once I am able to see it enter production, I’ll be sure to let you know and we will be able to plan accordingly.

Without reading to much into the email, I'd like to think this means that Telsa expects my vehicle to go into production within the next six weeks. Or, maybe that is just my wishful thinking.

It may be from another year. Signature reservations were made at the initial release party back in 2012. Some later Signature reservations, like mine, were upgrades from a wait list many months ago. Signature reservation sequence numbers are under 1500 for fewer than that many cars due to cancelations. A reservation sequence number over 20,500 made at the end of September 2015 like yours would not have access to the Design Studio yet (but wil soon) so you could not have Ordered yet and so would not have the Red Agree button yet. This is what timf was saying, you would not have a button because you have not yet Ordered; 9/29/15 must be your Reservation date.
Good news is that all reservation holders will be able to configure "soon" and you won't have to wait as long as those who reserved back in 2012 to be able to configure, order, confirm, then agree.

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying - how is 9/6 months and years difference from 9/29 unless 9/29 is from another year. If so, you can understand my confusion since the year was not given.
I think you are confusing the words "reserve" and "order". You "reserved" your place in line to "order" on 9/6. Gwgan had a "reservation" for years and just "ordered" or "configured" on 9/29.

We get it. English is hard. ;-)

Cheers!
