Just ordered for collection in Tilburg (July) and then to be shipped to the UAE :

Tesla Model S 85D, Solid Black, Tan Leather, Piano Black decor, Black Alcantara headliner.
Pano Roof
21" Grey Turbines
Executive Rear Seats
Autopilot
Premium Interior and Lighting
Smart Air
Ultra HiFi
Subzero Weather Package (LOL - mandatory for Executive Rears)

I surprised myself with what I finally ordered. Most of my choices are for aesthetics; black because it integrates the nose cone and bottom strips better than any lighter color, old gen seats because the upholstery pattern matches the rears, and executive rears because I don't like the look of the middle headrest on the normal seats.

As has been said many, many times...I can't wait

Cheers,

Weird ours moved back to Confirmed today. Anyone else ever experience this?
Unfortunately, this appears to be a common glitch at the end of production prior to going to "Production Complete: Your Model S is in transit from the factory." Mine spent 18 hours back in the queue before the status updated to in transit. Stay calm (telling myself the same thing as I wait for delivery).

Happens to so many people that it must be a software bug, but fixing it seems to be a surprisingly low priority.

Holy inflation batman! My exact build of 85D just went up EUR 4,650. If I had not confirmed yesterday I would be sulking my butt off today. I think I need to convert all my $ to Euros while the rate still holds low (and God help me if I decide to change any options). This car could cost me significantly more by August / delivery if I don't hold steady and that exchange rate starts to normalize...

Just got my VIN for European delivery 85D (88338); delivery has been moved up from August to Late July. I was also allocated Delivery Experience Specialist.

This is all becoming more real! I'm so distracted I just can't concentrate on anything. Now back to eBay to see how the bidding is going for one of my kidneys...

Its moving and that is progress. Although the route is strange to me, I worked for railroads in the past I shouldnt be surprised. It is near New Mexico/Texas border on its way to Villa Park, IL (Chicago burb) service center for delivery. Hoping we can take delivery before next Saturday. Want to surprise my son when we pick him up from University of Wisconsin-Madison next weekend. The color is red like the Badgers. Of course he will think it is his car, its not.

Now that will be one heck of a surprised!

The color is red like the Badgers. Of course he will think it is his car, its not.

And his mom will soon be telling the other girls at the beauty parlor what it's like to see their grown child cry!

Just got this update from my DS - I was supposed to have a late June delivery, but seems word is now it will be first week of June. Maybe things are running fast!

"Got an update for you! Your Model S is in Pre-Production and has been assigned VIN ......88139. Parts are currently being made and allocated for it and I expect to have it ready for you in Chicago by the first week of June."

Grr, disregard. DS said made a mistake in previous email and now says it will be early July, not June. The myTesla site still says Late June though.

Any idea if they are all running behind schedule, for D70s at least, or can I still hope for Late June (or earlier)?

Getting frustrated with our DS. Tell me if I am wrong to be frustrated.

The primary frustration is with information about our trade in. The appraisal was done last Monday morning. I have been waiting for the results since then. I have requested the results a few times and been told the number is coming. I do this through email. It isnt something i need an immediate answer on so I don't attempt to call. Still it has been basically a week and a half now and still nothing. The last time I asked was Monday and havent even gotten a reply email on it. In fact I havent gotten a reply at all about the trade in or the status of our delivery at all this week. I have sent 2 emails and haven't gotten any reply. 1 email was about the trade in and 1 email was asking for a status update on the location of the car. Last update I received was Friday morning that the car was on a train at the New Mexico/Texas border. I am also interested in finding out if the center console we ordered has arrived at the service center so then can install before delivering the car.

Should I expect replies from emails the same day? I have not been sending emails every day. Last week I sent an email on Monday about possible delivery time frame. I sent an email on Wednesday about trade in and on Friday letting him know that our charger electrical work was complete.

My Owner Advisor has been very quick (same day, usually same hour) with answering my emails. My DS hasn't been quite as quick. It has taken him 48-72 hours each time to respond to an email. Some times when I needed something answered relatively quickly, I called my OA and he forwarded along my request. Those usually were answered within 24 hours. BTW, my trade in quote came from my OA, not my DS.

How do I tell who my Owner Advisor is?
