For a data point, my car was delivered on Saturday 12/20 without the tan "next gen seats". Production started on 12/13 and was complete on 12/18. My DS informed me of this ahead of time, but when I took delivery the seats were not listed on the "Delivery Declaration and Due Bill" document. I had to get them to add it to the document. So not all cars are coming off the line with next gen seats, its still a mystery as to which car gets them.

By the way, quality control is a little suspect given the rate they are cranking cars. My car has a carbon fiber "yacht floor", yet I did not order it. Tesla made a mistake in the build, and did not catch it in QA, to my advantage. I pointed it out to the delivery experience specialist (he was a QA engineer helping out on Saturday) but he didn't seem to know what to do at that point. It does make me wonder if there are other things not quite right with the car. . .

Yacht floor is included (unfortunately) with the premium interior now.

There's another black hole opening up, one for cars that have completed production, but cannot get a transport:
I was initially quoted a delivery this weekend, my car finished production on 12/16, but it still has not been loaded on a truck yet (without any new delivery estimate!). It seems that a considerable number of other vehicles going to the same service center are sharing the same fate. This might even jeopardize a 2014 delivery.
Electrish, I think I may be in your boat. I am due to Columbus, OH on or about 12/23. Finished production on 12/17. I also have not heard anything about delivery, scheduling a pickup, nada. Did you get information that you are NOT on a transport. I am holding out hope that I am, but just haven't heard.

Mine is also due in Columbus. It finished production yesterday and my paperwork shows a delivery date of 12/29. It is the first delivery date I've been given. I have an e-mail out to my delivery specialist asking whether it is on a truck and I expect a reply tomorrow.

3,000 posts on this thread and we are now seeing lots of noted deliveries with VERY few pics....and it keeps getting off track with individual rants etc. My hope is we see more delivery news soon - I waded through all of the "other" parts of this thread to get to the actual 'delivery' part - come on people, show your stuff!

FYI that we have a thread under "Model S: Interior and Exterior" for P85D pictures.

Fantastic! Congratulations! I've been in production since the 15th so wondering if I will be soon or diverted to the Black Hole! :)

I have been watching your car too 3s. We both went into production on the 15th. Last I checked (Friday) I was still in General Assembly. Do you know where your car is at? I think we are in a black hole too. We both have gray interiors. I am wondering if that is the reason.

- As mentioned by an earlier poster, the Driver's Assistance Lane Departure Warning appears to me to be malfunctioning. I have driven 2 different P85Ds and when I tested it in both cars, I hear the motor make the three chimes, but the motor definitely isn't delivering the feedback where it needs to go.

I had a little trouble figuring out what was happening with this at first. The driver assist is a little rumbling in the steering wheel. It'll feel like that riveted rumble as you drift off the edge of a highway. It will be a pulsed rivet. Really feels like it's the road, but it is most definitely the lane assist. It's not a flash or a chime or any of that. Its a rumble.

Yeah, I hear the 3 "buzz" sounds when it activates but I don't feel anything in the steering wheel.

Well this is going to sound boring to all you owners about to get delivery or waiting for transport but thanks to my re-ordering I'm back in the loop, refreshing my dash waiting for a VIN number. This will be the third time for me with my first P85+ car, then P85D part1, and now P85D part 2. Today, much to my surprise I was just as excited to receive my new VIN number. This one is 69359 - quite a jump from 63011 which was my first attempt. It does appear to be a 2015 as one would expect.

What are you being told as far as delivery? Am considering re-ordering too.
