Trip north - advice appreciated

Travelling back north on Tuesday afternoon was much more relaxed, 3 cars charging and no queues inside.

Yes, it was Tuesday PM I was there too ... I suppose there will be busier times and we were a bit later than the main lunch period... still managed a steak and ale pie and chips though! (and no queue for food or Supercharging)

Scotch corner is one of those hotels where you need to enter your reg at reception otherwise ParkingEye will fine you. Abington is a service station and although Perth is a hotel there's no need to register. None of these SuperChargers are likely to be busy at this point in the year I would say.

The route up the east coast tends to take longer than the ABRP estimate as you can't drive at the speed limit all the way, if you haven't done it regularly the M6 / M74 isn't unscenic anyway.

Also, pack Smidge.

The Perth SuC is at the back of a large car park and is not connected to any hotel. It's a fair walk to the nearest eatery and toilet.

It's just a minute up the hill to the McDonalds or the other eatery up there (albeit no pavement)? Or there's a set of steps down to the petrol station and you have toilets and a subway in there.
