Two data points from Pennsylvania. On Sunday I went to Bethlehem, PA for a Cars and Coffee event and there were 11 of us Teslas, including 1 Model 3. That was nice but a planned event. Then I went over to the Allentown Supercharger and for the first time I have ever been there every stall was taken (Mine was the 8th and last spot, though no 3s). And after people left more stopped by to charge. I'm sure that is no big deal in Cali, but it shows people are driving them more here as well. And the closest showroom is over an hour away from there. Anyone here from Tesla, there really needs to be a service center in Allentown. They have a Maserati dealership so they could support a Tesla service center (No more showrooms allowed unless they close 1 of the 4 they are allowed by law near Philly and Pittsburgh).I'd love to hear from people not in CA regarding the prevalence of Tesla sightings as I'm seeing tons of them. A few model 3's but lots of S and X .... in fact it's no longer a big deal as they are commonplace. Now I understand CA is ground zero for EVs and Tesla but how often do you see on in your neck of the woods? (exempting the one sitting in your driveway of course) ....
Even though the focus is clearly on the Model3 I won't be surprised to hear record numbers for the S and X.
Cheers to the longs
Now where I live about 40 minutes north of there I rarely if ever see another Tesla. On Saturday I was showing my Sig X at our local Community College for their well attended Earth Day event and while a lot at least know what Tesla is, a surprising number still have no clue ("Is that an Infiniti?"). So there is tons of growth potential here especially for the Model 3 since this area isn't as wealthy as the Lehigh Valley, or the Philly suburbs.
