If you’re looking to defraud, you don’t sell hard to build physical objects that are easy to count.
You sell electricity or testing strips that can more easily be faked.
People are literally driving Teslas everyday. More and more Teslas every single day. That’s the exact opposite of fraud.
Mark Speigel went from somewhat logical (2014) to totally nuts (2018). His primary thesis remains competition, despite the bolt ( a very good car without charging infrastructure) being a total flop.
Not sure why he thinks the other car companies building 30k electric cars per year will wipe tesla off the map.

There is a lot of pressure that comes with working at Tesla. For the people who're leaving, If Tesla does give them generous stock option vesting in their severance, and the PPS goes thru the roof in the next few months, and with Tesla on their resumes they can get new jobs quickly, how much would they really complain?

Seriously, Elon recognizing that for Tesla to be taken seriously, they need to show a profit, not just in Q3 and Q4, but from here to infinity and beyond. Speaks volumes. Agree there is no going back to $300. Still a little miffed that TSLA @ 58.54B is still trading well below GM @ $62.65B.

Elon is just slowly buying back shares so Tesla wont need to be a public company anymore.
