Just had another delivery declaration stating there was an error with my first one!
Guessing that’s going to delay my app activation
Is your delivery today?Same here. No sign of the car though...
Congrats!Collected my M3LR this morning on a drizzly day (is there any other type ) in Manchester. We arrived about half an hour early and after showing my driving license was handed the key cards and shown to the car. I last drove a model 3 in January on a test drive so was a little bit nervous at first. The car appeared immaculate with no panel gap issues ,paintwork looked fine and all the usbs were present! There was 48% charge and 9 miles on the clock and the cameras were calibrated after about 10 minutes into the drive. I have to say it’s great to drive…just like BMWs which is what I’ve almost exclusively driven for over 30 years. Apologies if this sounds a bit rushed but I’ve volunteered to pick up the kids
Thank you. I was surprised how many blue ones were on site. Perhaps they’re City fansCongrats!
Exciting to see an MW71 reg onsite!
I’m a City fan so that might explain itThank you. I was surprised how many blue ones were on site. Perhaps they’re City fans
Did you get blue?I’m a City fan so that might explain it
I think the material handle is a manual charge port unlock incase it gets stuck/frozen?Got mine from Newcastle today. Went very swift, straight in and out. Can’t see any issues on the car panel gaps etc all brilliant.
The only thing I have noticed is in the boot, on the left side above the little pocket there appears to be a little material handle on a rope. No idea what that is.
And now, after only 5 hours - it has appeared in the app! Not sure if that is because I just connected it to my home Wifi a short while ago? Either way, delighted with that!So I had a tracking text from the driver and they arrived bang in the ETA. All over in 2 mins! Handed me my keys, said that all his deliveries were private leases from people with car allowances, to enjoy, and off he went!
To my eye the car is perfect - can't see any panel gaps or paint issues. Interior was spotless. It had about 35% charge on arrival (was on a trailer). It's currently hooked up to my Hypervolt and charging nicely.
It's not yet appeared in the app, but I'm not expecting that to happen until tomorrow. Overall I'm again amazed at how futuristic the car is and can't wait to get to know it better in the coming weeks. I've been after a Tesla for years and very content to finally have one in the driveway!
Good luck!! And EnjoyCar collection day tomorrow! I hope it doesn’t chuck it down the entire time.
A little off topic but what is your peak rate and night rate cost per KWh with Octopus?I swapped to octopus 11 days ago. And when my smart meter aligns I’ll get switched over.l to octopus go. Should be this week speaking to them.
You have to ring them to switch.
