Collected my M3LR this morning on a drizzly day (is there any other type 😝) in Manchester. We arrived about half an hour early and after showing my driving license was handed the key cards and shown to the car. I last drove a model 3 in January on a test drive so was a little bit nervous at first. The car appeared immaculate with no panel gap issues ,paintwork looked fine and all the usbs were present! There was 48% charge and 9 miles on the clock and the cameras were calibrated after about 10 minutes into the drive. I have to say it’s great to drive…just like BMWs which is what I’ve almost exclusively driven for over 30 years. Apologies if this sounds a bit rushed but I’ve volunteered to pick up the kids 😀

Picked up m3lr this afternoon in bristol. Couldnt have been simpler. Constant drizzle so hoping paint is good but fine from what i could see. Did the checklist and no issues.

Car was really quite dirty outside which was a shame but given the storms i can understand seemed like it got very dusty then the dust got wet and turned to brown muck?

Hoping to get out and clean tomorrow!

Just to add to the heated steering wheel debate.

I was told I had this feature and specifically asked for it via email. Picked up the car sat and it wasn’t available. Called cs who said it’s not available only as a paid upgrade. Explained I don’t have the option to pay for it and showed them the email. Have now been told it’s available as free software update just have to wait

So I had a tracking text from the driver and they arrived bang in the ETA. All over in 2 mins! Handed me my keys, said that all his deliveries were private leases from people with car allowances, to enjoy, and off he went!

To my eye the car is perfect - can't see any panel gaps or paint issues. Interior was spotless. It had about 35% charge on arrival (was on a trailer). It's currently hooked up to my Hypervolt and charging nicely.

It's not yet appeared in the app, but I'm not expecting that to happen until tomorrow. Overall I'm again amazed at how futuristic the car is and can't wait to get to know it better in the coming weeks. I've been after a Tesla for years and very content to finally have one in the driveway!

Got mine from Newcastle today. Went very swift, straight in and out. Can’t see any issues on the car panel gaps etc all brilliant.

The only thing I have noticed is in the boot, on the left side above the little pocket there appears to be a little material handle on a rope. No idea what that is.

I think the material handle is a manual charge port unlock incase it gets stuck/frozen?

And now, after only 5 hours - it has appeared in the app! Not sure if that is because I just connected it to my home Wifi a short while ago? Either way, delighted with that!

PS it only had 7 miles on the clock when delivered, now it's 15 :)
