Got delivery of my M3 on Friday, beautiful car to drive. Couldn’t have been given more of a half arsed clean if they tried. Had it cleaned and inspected the paint work, was not pleased with what I found.

funny you say that... so I got my cheapest quote using a reg from auto trader.

I just spoke to direct line and they quoted me £2500 using the spec.

Tesla have given me a Reg but they don't register it till you collect the car so its not on the system yet -_-
Very strange. I’ll end up getting my insurance on the day I pick up the car if that happens.

I had my reg from Tesla last week via a text so spoke to the insurance company for a quote but explained that the car wouldn't be registered until day of pick up. They quoted me on the Make and Model at £548 including business use at which I gracefully accepted.

Two more sleeps.

I couldn't handle all the uncertainty, so I kept the spec (LR AWD B/W interior Aero wheels) and just changed colour, went from MSM to Black and got an inventory match. Tesla were great, honoured my pre rise order price with the only condition that I have to collect before Friday (I guess because of end of quarter), fine by me.
