I've just got insurance with DL. Given them the reg number. I asked if have to do anything else when I get the car next week and they said no.

In fact, I've just checked, they've sent me the policy/insurance documents. They're in my account. Insured from 29th June.

That's the way to do it!

I popped in at Tesla Guildford this afternoon
to check if their system agreed with what I have in the app because, having received acknowledge in my account, and sent off the proof of transfer, I received an SMS this morning informing me that I had not paid.

So. face to face : All OK; nothing owing until the DD kicks in. Go figure.

But to finally answer your question, I put that to Maria at Guilford Tesla. She explained that the agreement signing will take place at the Delivery...

I had a sit in a MY, just to be sure that I have done the right thing .... Lovely.. can't wait!
(I could have had a drive but decided not to tempt fate at this late stage)

Not picking up this month (booo) but I'm quite excited to see everyone else do so. I feel like we need a 'Car pickup day porn' thread as I always think the more pics the better! It may already exist but I couldn't really see a gallery type area or thread within the UK section (I'm not so fussed about seeing American pickups tbh)?

Fair comment.
In the US, Delivery takes place at what looks like a SC come main dealer showroom so not really a useful guide.

When at Tesla Guildfor SC today, I asked Maria,
if she knew when the ship carrying 29th Deliveries will dock. She thought 28 late but could nor be sure. However, said she we could check its current position on the briny water.
She set about trying to wake the car. Amazing but, on reflection.. why not. However, she could not get a strong enough signal.

I can’t imagine they would want to lose 2 weeks when it’s been closed down for so long, 4 days is more plausible it’s over a weekend too. Some people also have 10 Aug delivery windows
