looks great. You make it look very easy! Not sure why Tesla went with the wood look. IMO it’s not part of the “sleek” look.
looking to do something similar in the spring.

Did this today too, using Tesmanian’s dash and center console in Matte Black finish.

Agree. It is also a shame they don't offer the cream beige in the Model Y. For the first time in my life I ordered Black interior. Wasn't about to order white and never wear blue jeans because of the rub off. I find the black really shows crumbs and dust in the cracks and requires a lot of vacuuming. All a trade off.
Was thinking of ordering the white and driving naked, but that poses it's own set of problems.

You might also consider white or carbon fiber sweat pants to be more in sync with that clean TESLA interior look. Like the guy with the carbon fiber wallet, key case and hat.

Thanks... Just ordered it. Been going back and forth on a couple others (Tesmanian and RPMTesla)... Single piece would have been nice. But for the price I can live with the split behind the screen.

It's an open-pore wood grain finish and suppose to look and feel like that. I guess you could pull it out and change the finish yourself. Wouldn't be too hard since it's a single piece, for North American Model Ys.
I've read that the voice command "my butt is cold" also works. Your wife might appreciate the inclusiveness.
Looks good. Did you get it from these guys? I like their Ebony trim. Apparently they can retrofit it to the center console and the dash.

Looks good on the dash, but Alcantara in the center console, around the cup holders seems problematic. what if you have spills or drops?
