In the Benalla Council discussion about the supercharger, a question was asked about other discussions underway, and the reply mentioned that Evie was looking at installing 2 chargers in the Denny St car park.

Meeting:

Location: 36°33'01.6"S 145°59'03.0"E · Benalla VIC 3672, Australia

Evie's DCAV funding was for 55 sites in 55 locations, so curious as to how/why they're installing two units here. (Their 350 kW network has locations in Seymour and Albury with none in between)

So many sites there with estimated completion date of 31/7/2023. I wonder how realistic that is.
I dunno but Evie are sounding pretty desperate,
"To meet the project obligations and requirements Evie must deploy and commission all infrastructure
prior to the 31st of July 2023. To be successful in meeting these project obligations this means we must
have the site into construction by early June at the latest. Generally construction is taking our build
partners 5-10 days with minimal impact caused to the local area. Once the site is built we can schedule
a truck appointment with the power authorities to energise the site, this is taking anywhere from 4-8
weeks from construction completion. It is critical that this site is delivered within these timelines to
meet our project obligations due to the large capital investment to deploy Electric Vehicle Charging
infrastructure ahead of the electric vehicle demand curve."
This is for Port Fairy where they still need lease signoff from council.

The Warrnambool charging was supposed to be open in April but no signs of install yet. 🤷🏻‍♀️
