Man.. I used to be the guy who was like, Tesla just isn’t my thing.. had a Mercedes and motorcycle… last week I decided I would just go for it.. had a tiny bit of debt so I sold my Benz to carmax, paid off the debt, the following ensued:

Got a call today from an advisor asking if I had any questions and how I was paying. Was hoping my credit would jump a tad bit before applying for the loan. Found out today about USSFCU.. anyone know what the process is like to get a loan from them? Already an ACC member..

Overall, my excitement has gone nuclear after watching YouTube videos all weekend and reading through the forums.. super excited.. accessories next.

Still no VIN, but we've got a nicer delivery window:

EDD: May 30th - June 13th

Got the VIN!

Unfortunately, the EDD window has slid back to June 7 - June 14.

Once they offer you a delivery date or window, can that be pushed out, if you have for example a business trip coming, or a vacation?

The problem is MD state incentive for 3k starting July 1st. What are my best options to hold off delivery until July 1st? I don't want to lose out on the incentive when it's only a few weeks away from the EDD.

I don't know if and by how much a delivery date can be pushed out, I am actually wondering about that myself. But for $3k, I would strongly consider re-ordering, even if that would mean losing the $250.
Of course, try everything else first ....

You would need to contact a service advisor. You are given a 3 day window, and the site does not give you the ability to pick a date outside of the 3 days they give you. As mentioned though, the loss of $250 is offset by that $3k. Unless, of course, Tesla changes the price again.

Basically a month between order and delivery! Makes me excited, I ordered the same car but black with no tow on the 20th here in Jacksonville so fingers crossed! Someone from Tampa looks like they’re in a similar boat. Fingers crossed we all get our cars quickly!
