Not "entirely eliminated." Very different. Did you make that up, or was it somewhere else?

Furthermore, it completely eliminated bodily injury claims, a drastic contrast to the Swiss Re human driver baseline of 1.11 claims per million miles.

Interesting indecision(?) moment in the second video at ~:10s in. When the car simply goes around someone trying to paralell park that changes the entire route (left turn vs straight).

Also feels (not sure what the laws are in CA for this sort of thing) unsafe that the car got back over that closely to the construction workers on the freeway and at least appears that the car was trying to undertake them.

Looks like it. I think these tours are a very smart move. They improve public trust of the tech. They also give Waymo good feedback on what the public wants and likes, to refine the service before they launch to the general public.

It's good to see them try new marketing approaches. So much for "commercial service coming to LA soon", though. A sequence of tiny geofences is also a clever way to avoid the freeway issue.

I don't know if you saw this. Waymo is also trying a new "priority pass" pilot where certain riders get discounts and priority.
