2004 WRX STi. Bought it new too and wish it made sense to keep both. Model 3 is a bit bigger in both directions and 1000 lbs heavier, but I needed a larger car since my kids won't stop growing. Hopefully battery tech will have improved enough in 10ish years to get me a sporty EV under 3k lbs next time.
'20 Porsche Cayenne S. As heavy as my Model 3P is, that beast weighed 800lbs more, chugged gas like a drunken sailor, and reminded me of my outsized carbon footprint each time I drove it.
Just sold last week my very clean August 2020 M3 SR+ with 11,355 miles, White/White, 19” sport wheels to a top 3 car manufacturer, local dealer for $3,000 more than I paid for it 15 months ago. FYI.
I've always had old Hondas, selling a '99 civic that i've had for 10 years for my new LR that's on order. . I've just never liked a (new) car enough to justify the purchase.
I’m trading in a 2013 VW Polo TDI. I bought new and over the years have come to dislike the sunroof (shade is always closed), but there just seems to be a different appeal with the M3 glass roof.. or maybe just the car in it’s entirety
Sold my beautiful MCred 2021 M3 SR+ W/8000km (5000 miles) Purchased only august 2021. Bought for 55k (cnd $) taxes in and sold for 62.8k or 71k tax incl. I collected tax back as it as in my company name. Ie. 16k in my pocket after 3 months! Used market is insane.
Ordered a blk/blk M3 LR due date Jan 2022 before the price increase and will get Aboost.
Essentially upgraded to the LR, (awd, power, range, premium int/sound) and put $ in the pocket wish I’d bought 3 of the SR+ lol
Recalled Chevy Bolt EV that GM bought back from me. I loved the car - more specifically the benefits of electric - and was bummed about the new safety concerns and restrictions, but this was far and away a blessing in disguise. Major upgrade!
2017 Audi A4 Quattro Prestige. I do miss the heated steering wheel, cooled seats, extended thigh support, and integrated rear window shades for the kiddos though.
