What do you guys have for your emergency kits?

Hey guys/gals,

The Tesla Roadside Safety Kit seems to be too lacking for the price that is offered. There are many kits on Amazon, but I am not too sure which ones make sense for the Model 3. What do you guys carry in your car as part of your emergency kits? Any specific links for the kits or specific items would be nice too. Thanks all.

I have a first aid kit with both a Combat Application Tourniquet (CAT) and a Stretch, Wrap And Tie Tourniquet (SWAT-T). Also a small fire extinguisher and some puck shaped magnetic emergency lights. The whole shebang fits in the little space on the left hand side of the trunk. Well, the fire extinguisher is mounted just above the space.

Also have 3 days worth of emergency meals and water in the deep space of the trunk under the main space. Think I got the first aid kit on Rescue Essentials. It came with the SWAT-T, I believe.

Standby for links.

Flamethrower, ka-bar knife, duct tape, super glue. If it can't be fixed with those, it shouldn't be fixed.
You really need to rethink that. I mean come on, no hammer? Sheesh. Noobs.

in all seriousness: tire plug kit, air compressor, tire gauge, small med kit, OEM Charger, firearm, multi-tool, and me.
I need to add a few things, but my commute doesn’t take me too far, and I can handle most everything I’m likely to encounter (within reason) as it sits.

Get a good plug kit like this one:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01E635PG...uPWNsaWNrUmVkaXJlY3QmZG9Ob3RMb2dDbGljaz10cnVl

Or a much simpler one like this:
https://www.amazon.com/Tooluxe-5000...PDZ392MA43P&psc=1&refRID=3F6JPZBCVPDZ392MA43P

I actually have this spring-loaded plugger, that shoots mushroom plugs:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0018EUDHW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Get a pump, one that doesn't trip the car's fuse, or conk out before filling the tires. This one seems to be acceptable:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01L9WSTEG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Though for max reliability, perhaps a foot pump would be best:
https://www.amazon.com/Audew-Dual-C...H2FJECPWFXN&psc=1&refRID=VS1GE2691H2FJECPWFXN

Those are the basics. You can get a compact spare like some, from modern spare or bimmerzone or look on ebay for a Hyundai Genesis compact spare. And a jack from a Porsche. Some hockey pucks are useful too.

Mandatory road kit: reflective vest & warning triangle
Tools: auto/utility gloves, multi-tool
Tires: plug kit, sealant & inflator, tread gauge, pressure gauge
Winter: bottle of sand/salt, and gigantic zip-ties
Other: big bottle of water, some food bars

what i should have but dont carry: emergency blanket, head lamp

it sounds like a lot but that entire package is miniature, and fits in the bottom trunk well where its out of the way

I bought that pump from Amazon and it blew the fuse on both of our Model 3’s. So I returned it and bought this one:

RYOBI 18-Volt ONE+ Dual Function Inflator/Deflator (Tool Only)-P747 - The Home Depot

I keep two fully charged batteries with me at all times.

I’m curious: what are the zip ties for?

These things

I've seen reviews on them that says "I drove on these things for 200 miles and they busted".

They're not meant to be driven 200 miles on. It's an emergency measure for digging yourself out of ice or mud or whatever else. I have nokians but have been stuck before (when parking lots are basically an ice cube).

This is my last gap measure, when the gravel and salt don't work

The orange box is a tire plug kit. Plastic bag has flares.

Inflator not shown. There are tools in a side pocket of the backpack. All this fits in the lower trunk compartment.

Actually, I now have the flares in the spare, so I can quickly put those out before doing anything else.
