If anything, the 500 mile range will hold up the production or change the order of deliveries. If he can't hit 500miles by production+ time, he may prioritize dual motors, just to delay the battery range issue.
I am hoping the dual motor version comes in around 360-380 miles of range at $49,900 and then that $10k tax credit kicks in. That would be a killer deal for $40k.
lol, yeah, I was just speculating what game he was referring to since I am not sure what one would expect when the vehicle was not scheduled for production until later this year anyway. I have a dual motor on order, I would be happy if my number gets called in 2022 sometime. Our SR+ is still under warranty until June 2023 so no rush.
if they can't even deliver the new model x which was suppose to be delivered last year, what in the world do you expect this company to deliver something like CT by the end of this year. bash me all you want mr. unicorn.
I still feel good with my multiple $100 bets (deposits) on Cybertrucks with the FSD price locked in at $7,000. Maybe they won’t pay off…but it’s only several $100 that is refundable

I think the Model X is still a low volume vehicle for Tesla. I would think the motivation to get the CT going is because they have more than 500,000 reservations queued up. $$$$$$ drives behavior.

I hope they launch the tri-motor first this year. I would to buy one before 12/31 this year so I can take 179 depreciation for this 2021 tax year...really need that deduction and was hoping for cybertruck!
