When to wait for 2023 M3 RWD?

It's very difficult to time your delivery with Tesla even before the pandemic. Now, with the pandemic, the accuracy will be even worse.

At that point you might as well wait for a 2024 lol. Tesla makes changes when and as they see fit. See the matrix/no -matrix headlights with various 2022 VIN’s.I might just literally wait to order in December then
Personally I’d buy the car when you need it and not focus on model year but that’s just me.

Honestly I’d be more worried about what is going to be included/excluded (light changes, etc) than the model year.
That said I think you’d probably be safe for a 2023 if you order in late August. I know that people aren’t getting matrix lights again and that’s a risk. For me it’s a simple pass without those lights no matter what model year 2022 or 23.
Not really sure. The “old” lights seem to be coming back with the newer VINS. Another reason to just order when you need one. Good luck!

IMHO, this is an unknown that we cannot accurately guess.
I ordered mine June 1st 2022 and says it will be delivered by Oct - Dec. which it might be a 2023 by then and I guess the EDD could change
It’s a lie to get you to place an order. August 2021 orders haven’t been delivered. It’s a 10 month backlog and growing. How could you expect a June 2022 order to be fulfilled in 6 months?
New member from Chicago. My EDD is around oct-dec as well for RWD Aero. If you want 2023 i would book now with sport wheels and as you come closer to december just downgrade wheels to aero. That way you will be in line even if they stop takin orders if wait times get too long..
Because there are people still getting their in 2 weeks or so. Maybe it’s a pure luck thing but I’m not sure. I’m just rolling the dice and see when I end up at come delivery
My RWD Deep Blue Metallic/Sports Wheels/Black Interior was ordered in May, and came in three weeks.
Did you have similar delivery dates ? Mine is Oct - Dec but when I was in the process of ordering it stated August - December
