Thank you! Although I do have the factory white seats - they are just hidden now :). Mind you, I did find one downside of the seat cover perforations almost as soon as I had fitted them — one of my cats jumped in the car and discovered that the seat made a splendid scratching post!

The set came from Torque Alliance.... Model 3/Y: Middle Console Cover Set (ABS+coating) they are easy to fit. The only thing I’m not keen on is the raised bit to hold a key card, but in practice with arm rest/cubbyhole lid down, I don’t notice it.

Where did you get the mesh? I’ve got one on order from AO which seems to be a lot of holes in a plastic sheet. I think maybe the mesh would not impede the airflow as much.

Thanks! I suppose I'm disappointed as I had a vague recollection after following this forum for months and months that Tesla would just adjust for the latest price. It had honestly not occurred to me that I would get a flat "no" and it's impossible to contact anyone to discuss it.

A combination of Covid and the spec I choose, with the sports wheels and a towbar, resulted in the long delivery time - it wasn't a planned delay. It was scheduled for 31st August, but they did kindly agree to delay it by a day.

The car is LR AWD, white, white, towbar, 19" wheels, so the current website price is £50,440. My invoice price is £51,440 with that about to rise to £51,940. :(

Three of my friends have bought new cars in the last twelve months, all moving from diesel to petrol - two of them to hybrid petrol. Their reactions when they found out I had a Tesla on order were ones of interest and defensiveness - they seemed to want to justify why a full EV was not suitable...

That really does look very nice. Mine has been delivered, but is still sitting in its box. The installation is on hold because my home's incoming fuse does not have a value label and Western Power can't come out to check or upgrade it for a month. We'll get there in the end :)

They told me the week before last that they have the discretion to delay a booked appointment by up to 7 days without unmatching, but really, who knows how it works - it seems to change depending who you speak to.

Just thinking out loud, but it’s going to be difficult to prove signs weren’t there at the time. It would never occur to me to take a photo under normal circumstances. I’m not saying their tactics are in any way okay, but just tricky to challenge.

Yes, I’ve got an Andersen on order and they told me that they had had OLEV grant applications rejected due to lack of a firm delivery date. I got a delivery estimate email from Tesla (saying mid to late August) which I forwarded and they seemed okay with that. Mind you, I’ve not got the charger yet!

That's a little disappointing - that's the car I'm waiting for and I'd assumed that a bonus of the wait would be usb-c and wireless charging.

You have to laugh! Mid to late August is what I’ve been told for the car; the seat covers, who knows! :) I’ve been buying way too many accessories during lockdown. There is a possibility that my Jeda hub will be useless too, if they have changed Model 3s to USBC!

Yes, that's the change. I've just taken your advice and been told "any price changes will be made when there is a vehicle matching your specification arrives" and "no need to reorder." So thanks for the suggestion - the difference will pay for the wall charger!

I hope they will do the right thing, but I've no idea who you would even negotiate with. Reordering is an option, but having waited so long, I'm reluctant to loose the car.
