It won't. I thought I could possibly want to return it before I got mine and I will never go back. I came from driving the car in chill for the first day to get used to everything. Second day I went acceleration boost sport and I regret nothing.

This may be a silly question, but new to this still. Does the car need to be connected to Wifi for the update to even appear, or is it just needed to download it? I live in an apartment building so my wifi does not make it down to the garage. I would need to hotspot it with my phone (my guess)...

I think it really depends. For me, I had to to the full car simply due to getting stealth instead of clear. If you go clear, I think the front and sides is good.

Wait, what?! I have an E on my VIN 7th position but I have an LR AWD. I think the E just means it is an electric vehicle, not a tesla specific code. I could be wrong though. The decoder just says its a lithium-ion battery powered vehicle.

Are you going to leave your emblems and badges off or are you planning to replace? I got some glossy black ones being shipped to replace after mine got removed from ppf install. I think it will match the trim pretty well and pick up the black on the center cap on the wheels.

I would say expect one between today and Monday. Tuesday at the latest. It is unusual to go longer than a week after getting the VIN.

I wouldn't be too worried. It took me nearly an entire week after I got my VIN before they reached out to me to schedule delivery. Then it was almost another week between scheduling and delivery.

Our cars might have been on the same delivery train/truck. I think they send them to the region hub in Chicago first before going into the midwest states.

Mine was a 10 day window then I got it. Shortly afterward it dropped to a 6 day window before getting contacted to set up the exact delivery date and time.
