I think 6 weeks is about right at the moment. I think given the sheer volume of Tesla delivers this quarter, the DNOs up and down the UK must be pretty swamped with requests. Completely agree. If the UK government want to hit their 2035 deadline, there's a lot more work to be done.

If you have a BMW finance online account then you'll be able to download all letters from the portal. If not, call them and ask them to email it over. You'll receive about 5 mins after ending the call.

Yeah, the might want to see it. Give BMW FS a call and request a letter of clearance. They'll email it to and it'll also appear in your online portal/account. Once I spoke to an agent who could do it, the letter came through in about 5 mins.

On the phone to them now, some agents have working systems and some don't. If you do need a clearance letter you'll probably need to call up multiple times to speak to an agent with a working system. It's a bit of a lottery... much like Tesla allocations lol Glad you won't be impacted though!
