It went very smoothly. I inspected the vehicle, inside and out while the rep stood by. I did not find any imperfections. He said I have 100 miles to report anything if I find.

So I've had my M3 for 5 days now and I love it!! It's plenty fast, but I'm considering getting the Acceleration Boost upgrade. 😝

I'm about 30 miles from the closest Tesla dealership. With that said, I just got a text from my SA moving my delivery date to 5/27 stating "your Model 3 has not arrived yet."

No, they don't sell them at the Tesla locations.

Nope. When I placed the order, it said home delivery was not available. So I had to pick up at the closest Tesla dealership. When I got my VIN, and was finalizing delivery, it showed that it would be delivered to my house. I contacted Tesla and they confirmed it would be a home delivery.

You didn't have to sign anything? They just dropped it off and left???? My home delivery is scheduled for this Wednesday and I thought I have to be home!

When VIN was assigned initially, I was not able to get the insurance. However, once I scheduled delivery of the vehicle, I was able to go back into the app and get the Tesla Insurance.

I paid $450 to get the Wall connector installed. He ran the 240v line and put the connector up on the wall. I think $1100 is ridiculous!

I installed my charger like 6 weeks ago. Will be getting car this Wednesday!

I see. Do they have to be drilled/professionally installed under the car?

Just confirmed delivery on 5/25 between 8am-12pm at my house. It says they will be delivering the car at my house. Initially when I placed the order, it said delivery is not available so I opted to pick up at the Tesla dealership.🤷‍♂️

FINALLY!!!! WOW!!!! I got a VIN!!!! Day 86!!! EDD: 5/23-5/27 VIN: 262XXX (Not sure what that means as far as Matrix lights, heated wipers and whatnot)

I got the trade in text two weeks after placing my order on 2/24. I got another trade in text 3 weeks ago. Still no VIN.

At this point I don't really care if I have the matrix lights or not. I just want the damn car in my driveway already!!!

It's so hard though! I've told myself "I am not going to look" every day for the past 85 days. And yet, I look sometimes 3, 4 times a day!😄

I've raked leaves in my driveway, front yard, backyard 6 times...and 12 of my neighbor's driveways. Still waiting....oh and I'm at day 85!

I always wondered about that as well! Curious to know.

Exact same car as yours, ordered 2 weeks before you, in SoCal, still no VIN and EDD just extended to 5/23-6/6. I seriously believe the VIN assignments are random like they pick them out of a clown hat or something! :mad:

Ordered 2/24, in SoCal. Still no VIN!:mad: I understand it's an industry-wide issue, but this whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth. Especially with the flopping of EDD's all over the place and seeing people who ordered weeks after me, get their car already. Ugh....it's a venting...

Tesla is 3.24%

I had locked in a rate of 2.79% with my CU, which expired after 60 days. Now, due to interest rates going up, it is 3.29%. Thanks a lot TESLA!!! :( At least I can get a .25% discount with autopay. Still....my rate will be 3.04%. I guess at least it's still lower than Tesla's rate.

Woke up to a 2 week window, 5/17-5/31. No VIN though. Not too excited as I've had a 2 week window before (back in March), only to change!

Yeah, I think they've forgotten about us here in SoCal. My latest EDD is 5/13-6/10. My wall connector charger has been gathering dust for weeks now!!!

I originally ordered my car as a lease. Thinking about switching to finance thru my Credit Union. They currently have 2.39% with a .25% deduction via AutoPay (for 72 month financing). For those who have switched payment methods, was it a big deal? Did your EDD change? And for those who picked...
