I'm not sure if it still works, but whilst logged in to your Tesla account you can try going to: https://www.tesla.com/teslaaccount/oxp-bff-api/user-orders It's supposed to show your VIN if you have one. Otherwise my understanding is that LRW is the thing we're supposed to search for still.

When I was looking a Macquarie they said the early break fee was $650 after 12 months. I ended up redrawing on my mortgage, currently at 3.99%, and am paying that off without the hassle.

Very good advice. Two factor authentication is also the minimum standard you should expect now - makes it that much harder for the bad guys. The thing I like about the Tesla account is that you can't change your password, only reset it via a link sent to your email address.

No update on my app and no hidden VIN. I thought Perth was supposed to be first cab off the rank?

Captain's log: day 248 The wife persists in pointing out Teslas on the road. It was funny six months ago, now she be close to walking the plank. Still no sign of VINs, I'm starting to think they're like mermaids (not real). The crew seems to have calmed down, but the sense of expectation remains.

The way I read it, they're saying park assist is being removed until Tesla Vision can do it.

I no longer feel the burden of refreshing the app every five minutes to let you all know when the VINs are starting😂. Not liking the idea that we might have the ultrasonic sensors removed and lose the park assist feature!!

I'm up to day 241 of waiting for my car. If delivering throughout the quarter means people don't have to wait as long, I'm all for it (and I'm not sure why it wasn't in place before).

Personally I don't see the point. Paying to know where exactly the car is won't make it come any faster. Each to their own.

Checked my app this morning and it took AGES to load. Was sat there waiting for it to pop up asking me to accept Tesla vision. Unfortunately it was just being slow today. Fingers crossed for a VIN in the coming week!

Captain's log: day 236. The crew seems to be getting up hope for an imminent flurry of VINs. Currently torn between dampening expectations to avoid a mutiny and stoking the fires in the hope Telsa will see the smoke and send relief.

Ask and you shall receive: 1. Log in to your Tesla account 2. Open https://www.tesla.com/teslaaccount/oxp-bff-api/user-orders 3. Look at the "VIN" section - blank = no VIN.

As the unofficial front of queue, I will report the second I have a VIN and bring you all hope. I don't have a VIN yet :P.
