    Cruise control annoyingly timid

The recommended safe following distance according to all driver training schools is 2 seconds. Therefore at higher speeds the physical distance is longer. The Tesla “2” setting equates to two seconds.

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

I just got 2022.40.4, and now my wheels in the app have changed… and I can’t find a way to change them back. They are still uberturbines in the in-car wheel and tyre configuration…

I got the icon sorted in the app. Thanks Still can’t get the widgets on the Lock Screen. Updated the phone to ios16 which allowed me to customise the Lock Screen and add widgets, but can’t find the Tesla ones. 😞

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

So I’ve just installed 2022.36.5 and have some questions: 1. I still don’t have adjustable cabin overheat options 2. How do I put the battery status widgets on my phone Lock Screen? 3. How do I add the door unlatch option to the Quick Actions in the app? I have latest app and iPhone 11.

Where in garage do you mount your wall connector?

If you put the charger on the inside wall directly next to the power board, it will be extremely cheap to install as they only need to connect through the wall. If you park nose in, the cable will easily reach across behind the car to plug in. If you park rear in, the cable will still easily reach

    Model Y HUD upgrade

No, it’s much better. All recent cars I have had used buttons on the steering wheel. The scroll wheel is vastly superior to that, or a knob on the dash.

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

The only issue I see with the auto wipers is that they increase in speed as needed as rain gets heavier, but when the rain slows, the wipers stay on at high speed, so you then need to manually adjust

    Black or white interior?

In my opinion, the white looks fantastic day or night. Very clean and relaxing. The black and wood just looks… old…

    Black or white interior?

I got white n my M3P. Best decision ever. In my opinion, the black with wood grain is very old looking. (Sooo last century 😎) The white looks fresh, modern and complements the minimalist interior perfectly. And I haven’t had a mark that wouldn’t Wilde off with a damp cloth

    Tesla Software updates - Australia

So, after 28.1 install, drove into Brisbane and back last night from Narangba (about 30km each way) Tried out Autopilot on both trips. Lane holding is still the same, sticks steadfastly to centre of lane, and round sweeping corners there is still continuous back and forth with the wheel. It...

I do the same thing, and you do need a thick skin. Perhaps we should tag-team them… If you like this sort of interaction, you should try commenting on an AFR post. Easy Access is great, but it is like a separate profile. Make sure you set the seat position way back and the steering wheel up high while in the Easy Access profile, as well as set your Home and Work locations. Then when you arrive home and put it in Park, the wheel moves up and the seat moves...

2021 Model 3 Performance Suspension Options

As far said, I want the higher sidewall, and I want the wider tyres for rim protection. That’s why I’m going the 255/35. Also to fill up the tyre gap in the guards. I’m happy to stay with standard dampers for the moment. I’ve been doing this stuff for more years than I care to remember, so...

2021 Model 3 Performance Suspension Options

I love the ride and stiffness of my 22 M3P. Just don’t like the look of it on ‘stilts’. I don’t want to lower it too much, so have got some 30mm drop H&R springs, and when I fit them, will upgrade the tyres to 255/35-20, which will result in a 22mm overall drop.

So, hopped in the wife’s BMW 135i this morning. This is a nice little car, bags of power (3.0L turbo) with DCT and all the ///Motorsport addons. Following up on that, I was one of the first to have the blown out deliveries. Ordered on Nov 6 last year, with a 8-12 delivery window. (The night before I ordered, the window was 3-6 weeks). That meant it should have arrived in January. Missed out on the Q1 delivery as they hadn’t built one to...

Why are there so many M3 for sale in Australia. The number on Car Sale has doubled in a week

I can’t see the value in the Y. The 3 is a much better car in my opinion. Or in other words, I’d never trade my 3 for a Y, but if I had a Y, I’d trade in an instant for a 3

    Removal of Model Type

None of the Model 3 or Model Y have their model type on the back. To differentiate, the tall, bulbous one is the Model Y, the low svelte one is the Model 3. 😜 Hope this helps

It’s similar to fuel excise. Directly in the feds’ remit. That’s the reason the feds are opposing it, because it’s not right that a state is imposing it.
