So update on whole collection debacle... Now arranged to pick it up tomorrow. Could have collected it today but I’m working and unfortunately cannot cancel work that easily. Was called yesterday by Tesla and told could be delivered but the guy this morning said they can’t as it’s financed...

Yes Tesla loan. They said there wasn’t anything they could do and have delayed collection until Monday which I can’t do as working. Hubby is furious and wants to cancel. Not even anything as compensation despite the fact it’s their fault!

Well at the 11th hour we have been contacted to say our collection tomorrow is cancelled as they’ve realised our finance agreement has expired. This is despite paying deposit, signing contracts and phonecalls and texts saying you’re ready for tomorrow. Absolutely fuming and upset.

I checked with them when they rang me yesterday and you can go earlier if you want 😉

The bottom line is it needs to be paid at least 7 days before delivery. We haven’t paid all of the deposit yet. Have collection booked. Not planning to pay the remainder until next week. Our collection is booked for 10th September.

No idea. My collection location hasn’t changed so doesn’t fit with others 🤷‍♀️ Mine disappeared when the narrow EDD window end of June went and changed to just “July”. Nothing since then…

Nope not heard anymore but also not paid off remaining balance as people previously haven’t need to prior to a collection slot being booked!

Have you had the text saying to sort everything within the next 7 days? Exactly my point…. I want a collection slot before I hand over any money. I’ve sent 2 x £10 so far to make sure it works 😂

When are you planning on making the final payment? I don’t want to pay until 7 days before but the text I had said complete everything in the next 7 days to avoid delivery delays so slightly worried if we don’t it will cause an issue…

Does anyone know if you have to pay before they will schedule your collection? Our account says to pay up before hand but EDD not until 1-15 sept so don’t want to pay yet really. I thought it just had to be paid within 7 days of collection?

We’ve had a text saying we are allocated a car. Also just had another text to say they are calculating our arrival date and to ensure all pre-arrival stuff in account is done

Hang on in there. I’d say our cars should be on the way now. We ordered in March too and have been without a family car since May after selling our BMW expecting a June delivery. Still no VIN or update from Tesla but I’d be very surprised if we don’t get ours next month. It’s within touching...
