In all honesty, I have never done anything like that before. I didn't even know for sure if the Bondo would be a good idea, but since it is used to fill in defects for body work, I figured it would work for this project. I'm pleased with the way it has turned out.
I got the paint from here. I think it was a Cadillac gunmetal. Close, but a little darker than the Rial gunmetal. Shot in the dark... (They do have Tesla paint colors, too.)

Wish these were available last fall. Rather than take off OEMs I would have purchased these for summer use and used my original 5-spokes for the winter.
