I couldn't resist doing it again...

My medium term strategy is to sell off Jan20 calls and buy mar and jun on the dips.

But it's too tempting to buy Jan20 on the dip and sell a short time later, and I've done that a few times.

Hope you are right for my major holding in Tesla. We have had a $50 run-up. Time to be a little cautious due primarily to what will happen after January 20th and the impact on markets, generally.

I feel pretty confident Trump is onboard with Tesla considering its most pretty much the most american car there is.

I tend to agree on next week probably getting choppy around inauguration.

I'm planning on unraveling all my short-term positions this week, but that is small money. I enjoy small short-term plays just to "stay in the loop", that way I don't ignore it and get surprised. The longer term stuff I'm not worried about and I managed to DCA my core position down to 180 which I'm pleased with.
