Yes. Just updated and Track Mode is there.Ahhh. Lame. Will it have Track mode for us Plaid drivers???
For some reasons I am still on a shorter leash. I am only allowed THREE forced disengagements. At least it is better than the TWO that I had before.Oh did y'all notice in the 10.8.1 release notes that now it takes FIVE forced disengagements to get suspended? Seems to imply a bit more confidence in FSD.

There are no actual FSD changes in 10.8.1, placebo.Received 10.8.1 beta update this morning. Running smoother for the short distance I could use it. Nice turning left and right.
Look up 5 posts above.Does this add Track Mode to the Plaid? Same version on the non-FSD cars has Track mode am I safe to assume Plaid gets Track Mode with 10.8.1 given it's 2021.44.30 for track mode on the non-FSD and 2021.44.30.5 so other than the ".5" at the end it's the same version. That means same features yes?

Anyone know what the criteria is for some to get more than others? Are the refresh Model Ss limited?
Also cross posted here.

What was the purpose of the update? reset meter on suspended drivers? There are no actual FSD changes in 10.8.1, placebo.
Apparently. However we all got it. It does raise strikes to 5 it seems however I had none. What was the purpose of the update? reset meter on suspended drivers?
Heat pump fix that was in 2021.44.30 and reset strikes, that's it.What was the purpose of the update? reset meter on suspended drivers?

Where do you see any strikes?Apparently. However we all got it. It does raise strikes to 5 it seems however I had none.
The release notes are literally exactly the same from 10.8 lmao, it's all a placebo.Based on what? You mean in 2 weeks, they fixed nothing?
This guy even noticed new behavior:
Because the release notes are always complete and detail every little change made...The release notes are literally exactly the same from 10.8 lmao, it's all a placebo.
The release notes being the same means very little. Tesla only tells us about a few of the changes and then just the big ticket items. I for would be shocked if there was nothing else changed. The release notes are literally exactly the same from 10.8 lmao, it's all a placebo.
Have you ever even read FSD Beta release notes? They most certainly do.Because the release notes are always complete and detail every little change made...
Well then prepare to be shocked. The release notes being the same means very little. Tesla only tells us about a few of the changes and then just the big ticket items. I for would be shocked if there was nothing else changed.
No, they do not. For example detection and display of speed bumps was added with no note, then it was removed with no note, then it was added again, with no note.Have you ever even read FSD Beta release notes? They most certainly do.
