I can see so.
Interested what rabbit Tesla pulls out of the hat to make claim to the multitude of deliberately quoted May EDDs... If so, there's got to be something leaving before the 29th, technically something should be loitering from next week if May is possible.. unless Elon is going air cargo for us 😂
Probably the "come get your car from Southampton on the 30th June or we give it to someone who can" Rabbit

Guys/Girls , their are great discussions about orders EDD changes, etc. on the site above.

We have one trusted specialist in Mr M who will let us all know when deliveries will start and what ships to watch out for. So In the mean time check the link out. Keep the faith all

Suddenly, without warning, nothing happened.
There are no ships on the horizon, except if you are in the Far East and are expecting a delivery from San Francisco.
I will let you know if anything changes in Shanghai.
In the meantime, it would be helpful if we tried to keep the thread on subject - ships. Thanks

Just to add some info, the following ships which are all presently inbound to Shanghai will depart to UK/EU but I have already ruled them out from being possible Tesla carrying vessels.
BESS, IVORY ARROW and TRANQUIL ACE.

I will also mention that I'm keeping an eye on LAKE GENEVA. She may depart S Korea for Singapore in which case she is of no interest.

so Giga Shanghai opened or not?
Yes

Latest from Bloomburg:

"Workers will also be expected to work 12 hours a day with one day off every six days, Bloomberg reported. Previously, the employees would work 8-hour shifts with four days on and two days off, the publication said."

Also Tesla is expected to report tomorrow in its guidance Q2 production targets will be unchanged.
“Tesla is not known to change their full year deliveries guidance during the year. FY’22 guidance will remain unchanged at 1.4+ million vehicles following Q2 EC. If Shanghai stays open for rest of Q2 volumes will be unaffected as Berlin and Austin make up GF3 April lost vols.”

These conversations should be in the other threads as Mr M. mentioned.

Doing some browsing and the only thing that seemed remotely of interest was MORNING PILOT

Which arrived in Shanghai April 12 departed after just 2 hours and went no where and returned into Shanghai port on April 16, what from I can see it has been to the UK in the past and is currently just sat in port.

It could be a Hyundai ship. But it's ran by EUKOR
So as I am bored at home, I looked at EUKOR Shanghai to Soton schedule and there's these

Nope, I really don’t belive any of that.
Shanghai will not resume full production for a while. There’s alot else other than Giga Shanghai that have been affected by the lockdowns and still are, that delivers to the Giga S.

Texas or Freemont surely will only produce for europe just in someones dreams.
And Berlin only produce MY…

So delivery in may will not happen.

We were told somewhere on the forum that there will be no cars ready to ship at the Shanghai car park prior and over the lockdown, yet there is 👀

(keep the dream alive 😂)

Yes, but they couldn't ship the batteries to Shanghai.
CATL are in Shanghai and were one of a few factories that operated closed loop since the start of the lockdown. There’s a report that Tesla has a week of supply and it will take 3-4 days to ramp back up to full production.

How far out can you spot potential ships? Photos from the site just before the production restarted showed about 1000 cars ready so it could be a week before there’s a shipload (approx. 4000 cars?).

Just be aware that Tesla has a history of shipping incomplete cars!
If some bits don't turn up in time for the production run, the rest of the car is built and shipped with the idea that a Tesla Service Centre in the destination country will fit the missing items after delivery.
I'm pretty sure it happened with the wireless charging tray last year amongst other things.
So yes it's nice that there may be some production going on and there is hope that some cars may get shipped to the UK this quarter but....
