28 days shipping means anything leaving the start of May will make it on time. By the 4th then it’s arriving at the start of June.To have any chance at all it would need to be loading and leaving this week, chances are slim to none i'd say
Probably the "come get your car from Southampton on the 30th June or we give it to someone who can" RabbitInterested what rabbit Tesla pulls out of the hat to make claim to the multitude of deliberately quoted May EDDs... If so, there's got to be something leaving before the 29th, technically something should be loitering from next week if May is possible.. unless Elon is going air cargo for us
What date you been given and what is your spec/delivery locationFinally some good news from Shanghai. Waiting for an M3P ordered March 10th.
Mr M sadly disagrees, sorry guysView attachment 795344
Some potential HOEGH liners
HOEGH SHANGHAI must be worth taking notice of, as an arrival date of June 12 gives 18 days to get deliveries done, June 22nd would be cutting it fine, but wouldn't be surprised if both HS and TRAVELLER were used?
Mr M giveth. Mr M taketh awayMr M sadly disagrees, sorry guys
so Giga Shanghai opened or not?Suddenly, without warning, nothing happened.
There are no ships on the horizon, except if you are in the Far East and are expecting a delivery from San Francisco.
I will let you know if anything changes in Shanghai.
In the meantime, it would be helpful if we tried to keep the thread on subject - ships. Thanks
so Giga Shanghai opened or not?
Yesso Giga Shanghai opened or not?
Latest from Bloomburg:
"Workers will also be expected to work 12 hours a day with one day off every six days, Bloomberg reported. Previously, the employees would work 8-hour shifts with four days on and two days off, the publication said."
Yes
Also Tesla is expected to report tomorrow in its guidance Q2 production targets will be unchanged.
“Tesla is not known to change their full year deliveries guidance during the year. FY’22 guidance will remain unchanged at 1.4+ million vehicles following Q2 EC. If Shanghai stays open for rest of Q2 volumes will be unaffected as Berlin and Austin make up GF3 April lost vols.”
These conversations should be in the other threads as Mr M. mentioned.
...using batteries from China. And Berlin only produce MY…
We were told somewhere on the forum that there will be no cars ready to ship at the Shanghai car park prior and over the lockdown, yet there isNope, I really don’t belive any of that.
Shanghai will not resume full production for a while. There’s alot else other than Giga Shanghai that have been affected by the lockdowns and still are, that delivers to the Giga S.
Texas or Freemont surely will only produce for europe just in someones dreams.
And Berlin only produce MY…
So delivery in may will not happen.
Good job CATL never shut their factory....using batteries from China.
Yes, but they couldn't ship the batteries to Shanghai.Good job CATL never shut their factory.
CATL are in Shanghai and were one of a few factories that operated closed loop since the start of the lockdown. There’s a report that Tesla has a week of supply and it will take 3-4 days to ramp back up to full production.Yes, but they couldn't ship the batteries to Shanghai.
Nope, they use batteries from LG located in Poland, close to German border. I live close this factory...using batteries from China.
