HERE to see a wonderful map of the world. Superimposed on it are the latest positions, updated via satellite, of confirmed Tesla ships.
Those ships are:
GLOVIS SUNRISE is now in the North Atlantic and making her way up the coast of Portugal. She is heading for Southampton where she is due to arrive in the early hours of Friday morning 16 Sep. It's worthy of note that her departure from Southampton is not until very late on 18 Sep which would tend to indicate that there will be no Teslas left onboard when she arrives in Zeebrugge. Competition results tomorrow!
GLOVIS SUN is in the Mediterranean and is heading for Zeebrugge with an ETA of 20 Sep.
GLOVIS CRYSTAL has completed her Suez transit and is now in the Mediterranean. She should arrive in Koper on Friday evening, 16 Sep.
GLOVIS COURAGE is in the Gulf of Aden and should pass into the Red Sea later tonight. She is bound for Barcelona with an ETA of 20 Sep.
There is a rumour, or possibly wishful thinking, that there are Teslas onboard HOEGH TRAVELLER which will arrive in Le Havre on 12 Oct and then Zeebrugge on 15 Oct. The good news is that this is very easy to confirm - if you have your VIN enter it
HERE and it will tell you whether your car is onboard. This only works for cars onboard Hoegh ships. Do let me know if a search is successful.
Typhoon Muifa is still forecast to hit the Shanghai area on Thursday afternoon. The typhoon is not decaying as fast as originally forecast. As of now (Tue) it still remains a category 2 storm with wave heights of 36 ft. The forecasters are now suggesting that the storm will hit land around Ningpo and this will cause the storm to rapidly decay. The GF is looking like it will be directly under the path of the typhoon but according to the latest forecast it will still be a category 1 storm (winds around 90mph) by then. The storm will continue on to hit Shanghai city centre. Even if the winds do decay, the rainfall won't and local flooding is likely.
The Shanghai RoRo berths are now empty.
