This Model S will receive a full inspection, remaining battery and drive warranty and a two year, 100,000 miles maximum odometer pre-owned limited warranty with 24 hour roadside assistance.

Just thought that was funny... so much for a value in CPO for this one...

Do you want a Tesla for under $40,000 or not?

The 5 kWh battery would worry me more than only having 248 miles of warranty left. ;)

People have bought < $40,000 Model S vehicles with 2 year warranties with tens on thousands of warranty miles left.

I wish Tesla allowed customers to purchase an extension for the CPO warranty, especially in cases like this.

I saw this too. I think with almost no warranty left, they should price it at about $35k.

This doesn't sound like Tesla is standing behind their product. Should they give at least a 6 month warranty?

Or just sell an extended warranty so customers can pay extra for the comfort in knowing their repairs are covered and Tesla will have a pool of money to pay for repairs for those cars. They can charge whatever they want.

I wish someone at Tesla can take a fresh look at the CPO program and warranty options and handle these situations in a fair way.
