7-seat config waiting room

I’m sure if you do a quick search you will see quality are below “standards” when they try to build cars to meet their sales figures at the end of each quarter. That is one of the reasons why I avoid the March sales craziness. Whether this is a myth or not, I don’t want to risk it. Therefore, I placed my order at end of March in hopes to get a build in April or May but as of today, the ETD is early June. Fingers crossed, everyone!
Original order March 17, now scheduled to take delivery May 6.
2021 MY LR Black/Black 20" / 7 Seats / Tow
Received a text on Sunday April 25 with a link to the delivery scheduling page.
Was offered May 6, 7 or 8. (In the past week, my delivery estimate seemed to be resting at May 1-7).
Total time will have been 7 weeks + 1 day from original order of March 17, when the estimate was "1-10 weeks,"
(I'll note, I'm not holding my breath that the date is a lock, as I've personally experienced cross-country trucking delays of all kinds over the past year, i.e. if a driver contracts COVID, it can a partial day delay at minimum.)

I have a VIN!!!!! I'm so excited! It's been three days away for the last month, but says delivery today through May 1!

I actually thought I was a patient man before I ordered my Tesla. Boy have I learned differently. I feel like a drug addict watching my friends get high while I'm going through withdrawals. Weird simile, I know. I'm weird. There has to be a better way than watching the meaningless estimates on the Manage Order page. So I decided to commiserate with others suffering from my plight. And maybe share the joy when others finally get theirs. </ramble> Here are my deets:
LR AWD MY 7 seats, black interior, 19' wheels, tow hitch, no FSD. Ordered and completed profile on 3/27/21. Delivery is to the Tesla store in SLC. Estimated Delivery as of today: May 16 - June 05
That's the latest estimate I've had. Earliest was April 8 - April 28.
A lot of people here have talked about their Sales Advisor. How do I find such a person? <-- And immediately after I typed that sentence my SA texted me for the first time. Creepy, right?

I don't think you should cancel. I believe the deposit is non-refundable so you are not getting it back whether you cancel or not. You can pay another $100 and take a chance that it may deliver sooner but I highly doubt that it will be the case since early order should always be prioritized.Ordered 4/12 MY7 Blue on Black, Tow + FSD
