Until we start seeing a lot of Ryzen I think it’s hype and hope.
When the MYP went to A/Ss there was a couple days / max a week where we spotted a couple. There was some mix. But within the week it was predominantly A/S tires being delivered and P-Zeros became rare.
In this case it’s been a few weeks / month of Ryzen is coming! And yet it’s not even a trickle. Sure some day there will be Ryzens. But it sure seems like the hype got way ahead of reality.

I was going to blow up my new Tesla Model Y because the v11 software upgrade was an affront to human decency. But I eventually got over it. Now, since I realize my Y has the Intel Atom chip, the lead acid 12v battery, and no rear dual pane glass, let alone no 4680 battery, I’m once again thinking my MYLR is irreparably flawed and I need to blow it up In protest.
Drive it over to the Fremont parking lot with a pretty bow on it.
Offer it a the first Tesla employee that comes out the door.
Then ask for a refund because some blog announced it at Tesla's behest.
Note: the blogs always have Tesla's blessing - Tesla only lets out what THEY WANT OUT. Consequently, they're responsible for your dis-satisfaction.

my car was built in 12/2021 and delivered 01/07/2022. i have Intel Atom for my Infotainment Processor. My VIN is 350***
Don't know if you saw but a 354 VIN picked up today and had the AMD chip. So there's no telling.I think you should be fine. My previous EDD was 1/9-13 and they just gave me options today to pick up between 1/13-15.
Yeah just saw that, I think it should be related to the built date but I have already decided to take the delivery. AMD or not I will be happy. Thanks for letting me know though.
It was a MYLR. It's this person Some 2022 Model Ys shipping with MCU3 (AMD Ryzen)
He has a post a little later in the thread with the screenshot. Supposedly a Jan 9 build so it suggests that Fremont has again switched over to AMD chips (hopefully for good).

Build dates? Tesla doesn’t assign VINs in sequence so build date is the only way to go on this.
Yeah, that's why I noted Infrain. He's been told he has the Intel and was built on 1/6, I believe, with a 354 VIN. But, SAs don't necessarily know it seems like and we've seen 354s both with and without the AMD, so he might still have a chance.
