Maybe in my mailbox today? Will post when received. Odd they would say don't bother us for 30 days. Not much confidence in the USPS.

Hello everyone,

Wondering if anyone else who purchased a (new) showroom INVENTORY vehicle can help me with submitting my complete documentation for CVRP? I received an e-mail from CVRP processing team that I need one of the two "Proof of Order Date" items below, and the e-mail also said that "pro-forma" copies of the Vehicle Configuration Sheet were not allowed. The challenge is that mine was an inventory vehicle so I did not "order" the vehicle.

*Proof of Order Date:
Proof of Order Date 1: Electronically signed/time stamped final Vehicle Configuration Sheet (Sample 2) Note: This requirement will be satisfied by submitting Option 1 from the acceptable document combinations above. or
Proof of Order Date 2: A copy of your first order confirmation email from Tesla (Sample 6)

So for item 2, I did not have an order confirmation e-mail since I didn't do a custom order. For item 1, I only received a pro-forma version, unsigned - was I supposed have have received a final signed version for inventory vehicle?

Also, per the note that "Option 1" coudl also satisfy Proof of Order Date 1, Option 1 refers to submitting the two signed/timestamped items from Column A: Sample 1 Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement: Final Price Sheet AND Sample 2 Motor Vehicle Purchase Agreement: Vehicle Configuration Sheet. Which just brings me back to the fact that BOTH of those documents were only unsigned "pro-forma" versions in all of my official documents from my signing.

Did anyone else run into this problem for an inventory vehicle? Or is the issue that Tesla was supposed to have given me final signed versions of these documents, but failed to do so?

So just to answer my own question, in case it helps others in the future:

I inquired to CVRP for more clarification on inventory vehicles,in lieu of Proof of Order they instead asked my for Tesla Delivery Specialist to e-mail them the answer to two questions: 1) confirmation of the VIN; and 2) confirmation that the vehicle was in inventory at the time of purchase. Once my DS replied affirmatively, my rebate was approved within minutes.

Now to start the countdown on getting the actual check:

Important Information from the State of California
Funding is appropriated for the rebate project each year in the State Budget. FY 2016-17 funding will be exhausted before FY 2017-18 funds will be appropriated and allocated to the project.

As of June 30, 2017, only qualified lower-income applicants, as described here, will receive rebates. CVRP reserved $8 million for qualified lower-income applicants, thereby prioritizing payments to low- and moderate-income applicants in accordance with program requirements. All other applicants will be placed on a rebate waitlist. Qualified applicants on the rebate waitlist will receive payment if the project receives more funding from the State of California. Update What does the rebate waitlist mean to me?

Update 10/10/2017: The Legislature approved $140M in Cap-and-Trade auction proceeds for CVRP on 9/16/2017. Waitlisted applications will be paid with this funding. However, we anticipate that it will take several months to receive the funding. Once we receive funding, we will issue rebate checks for approved applications as quickly as possible. We should know more about the end of the waitlist and when waitlisted applicants can expect to receive their rebate checks in November. Additional updates will be provided here as they become known.

Got my check today. No email. Did receive notice of approval a week ago. Purchased 9/27. Sales/delivery people were clueless and did not even give me a heads up that there was such a program. When I bought my BMW i3 the dealer gave me a packet with step, by step instructions and extra copies of what I would need to submit (Fed Credit and State Rebate). What a difference!! My whole MX delivery experience was a total let down. Wrote management, got no reply. I’m just glad my MX Snowball rocks. Could not be happier with the car.
