Sorry for everyone waiting, I will say I cant wait for the Tucson location to start doing delivery's.

Got to Raintree 5 minutes before my scheduled time. walk in and they have a QR code you scan and enter you reason for being there. about 10 minutes later I get a call and it tells me what stall the care is in. Go to the car. See a scratch near the wheel, down low. I call the number they say to call if there are issues. no one answers. I walk into the service shop and ask one of the guys to find me a delivery specialist. about 10 minutes later he comes over and says we can reject the car based off the scratch or accept it. We havent see the inside yet as you have to accept delivery before they give you App access to get into the car. I said I dont want to accept delivery until we see the inside. The DS said this is the only way to get inside now. Its completely hands off and he "isnt supposed to spend time with us". We accept delivery. The inside had some stitching that was misaligned and we found another scratch on the rear quarter panel. Some guy was taking delivery of his MS Plaid, awesome car, and his DS came to us to see how it was going. We spoke about the scratches and the stitching. We took pictures and set a service appointment. The DS who spoke to us said they are delivering about 200 cars a day. We were there at 3PM and only saw 3 others taking delivery. This we wont speak to you onsite is just terrible. the car minus the scratch's and stitching is in great shape. Including the laundry hooks that work.

Shame about the service ... or lack thereof. Glad you finally got your car though. What did the misaligned stitching look like?

Weird that they were delivering that many cars per day and you only seen 3 others taking delivery.

Geesh. That’s a bit of a push back. I’m be interested to understand their scheduling logic. Seems like there’s no level of certainty when it comes to build or delivery. From the outside it all appears so random.
The SA said it's a bit random - they just get random cars by the truckload and then assign them to customers based on configuration.

I told him I was a little annoyed that my original 3-5 week estimate is already at like 11 weeks and looking like 15 weeks before I actually get it.

I ended up canceling. I waited two months but it was starting to look like late July -> September was a more realistic delivery date. I think I'm going to pick up a used model 3 from carvana and the maybe try again for a model y in a couple years when the texas factory is up and running
