Just for those who hadn’t followed my journey through this crap:

- Ordered Stealth Gray LR - Black Seats/18s 20/11
- Rejigged to every option available 7000 times to try to rig a VIN, no diesel
-28/12 Wild Red LR M3 with Black/18s appears like a Jigglypuff in inventory, I order because impulsive and cancel current order
- Delivery estimate updated from Feb-April with old order to Jan 6-28 with new order
- VIN assigned but not visible



Also, I’m in Wollongong and delivery centre is Miranda.

My communication with Tesla produced a response.

Seems they had a problem with the algorithm for one of the Sydney delivery locations - causing cars to be allocated in the wrong order. This is said to have been fixed.

Sounds like VIN assignment has been paused today (except for X Æ A-12 who somehow skirted the system) - but will be resuming "soon".

Anybody get a VIN today? I haven't noted any action... so reality seems to line up with what I was told.

For clarity: no VIN for me. Yet.
