Watching the forum with one eye and the Boxing Day test match with the other makes for a pleasant afternoon.

There are a few things that would make it more pleasant:

1. a nice GnT (will fix that soon)
2. VIN (no sign yet).

Agree.. there was one on display at Eastland Shopping Centre in Ringwood (Melb). I did consider changing my order from stealth grey, but after seeing the grey again at Mulgrave, decided to stick with it.

What’s interesting is that the allocation email comes from noreply-TeslaANZ whereas a lot of the other emails come from just noreply which to me suggests the allocation steps happen here, but perhaps head office?

Got VIN just now in Melbourne. EDD is Jan 17 to Feb 7

My communication with Tesla produced a response.

Seems they had a problem with the algorithm for one of the Sydney delivery locations - causing cars to be allocated in the wrong order. This is said to have been fixed.

Sounds like VIN assignment has been paused today (except for X Æ A-12 who somehow skirted the system) - but will be resuming "soon".

Anybody get a VIN today? I haven't noted any action... so reality seems to line up with what I was told.

For clarity: no VIN for me. Yet.

Everything on my end is almost done.

NL finance re-approved today (was >90days since last time) and now waiting NL settlement coordinator to send the paperwork to sign.

Then 7-10 business days for settlement and remittance (could happen quicker).

Everything should be sorted out prior to Jan 18.

I've thrown the remaining Imodium tablets in the bin.

Finishing off my second G&T for the day, and about to pour the first of many Negroni's until I pass out.
