Yep, didn't think it would be with LRWY... mines 711 too. Stand down everyone.Aargh mine are 711 too so its not a VIN
main.bundle.min.js?I just found this in one of the JS files in the source code....
alse,\"showDetailsInSelfInsuranceForm\":false,\"vin\":\"LRWYGCEK1NCXXXXXX\",\"insuredVIN\":null,\"vinHasChanged\":false,\"
Almost certain that was never there before??
Yeah right on the money. Have the same VINmain.bundle.min.js?
I can see the same. And I'd wager this is static content, not dynamic. Especially since the "referenceNumber" value doesn't match my reference number (RNxxxxxxxxx).
I'll chance it, the full VIN I'm seeing in that file is LRWYGCEK1NC263711. Which I'd wager is the same as you are seeing.
TLDR: nothing to see here, move along folks
Where are you seeing this?main.bundle.min.js?

Chrome>dev tools> searched for "showDetailsInSelfInsuranceForm"Where are you seeing this?
Dug it out using web developer tools in Chrome. But the actual content is "static.tesla.com/tesla_insurance_app/main.bundle.min.js"Where are you seeing this?
Ahh yep. I have that as well. Im guessing it was always there. Is there where you always search for a VIN?Dug it out using web developer tools in Chrome. But the actual content is "static.tesla.com/tesla_insurance_app/main.bundle.min.js"
Definitely wasn't always there, previously LRW would only turn up in css files.Ahh yep. I have that as well. Im guessing it was always there. Is there where you always search for a VIN?
Maybe its a If you got this you will get a VIN this allotment hahaDefinitely wasn't always there, previously LRW would only turn up in css files.
Glad I kept my skepticism about me though
Yes, and the K is a dual motor too.Unsure if this is the real deal. Just did a search for posts with LRWY on TMC and looks like that is how a vin for model Y starts
Same as meView attachment 857662
Mine is showing nothing here unlike the others - so maybe it does mean something?
Or are we thinking too hard about this.
Only annoyed at the extra cost. I just couldn't just couldn't justify it for my needs.Who else is annoyed they didn't order a long range? I think I would have had it by now, and from memory it wasnt that much more :-(
Hmm interesting, this “new” vin has only been reported by orders from early March or before. If more people can confirm, we can come to a rock solid conclusion.View attachment 857662
